Group Facilitator for Parent Education Program

required for parents by the Judicial Systemfor parents experiencing a divorce., separationor custody action. The 6-hour program is designedto help parents learn about the impact of their changein family restructuring on their child.Course topic include stress in children,child development, co-parenting and other options, adjustment of children, dispute/conflict resolution,visitation, community resources, and more.

Two facilitators teach the class (one male, one female). Facilitators need a Master's degree in child development, family life education, marriage and family therapy,

social work, psychology, counseling or closelyrelated field. Classes are held either duringthe mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends,generally on a rotating basis usually once a month.Ideal position for someone interested who wantsa very part-time position, or wants to supplement

their full-time employment elsewhere.
