As a first time parent you may be asking yourself, "What do I do now?" Families First invites you to join Nurturing Connections by participating in a free telephone support program. This voluntary program will provide you with a trained volunteer who will call you at home on a weekly basis. The volunteer will check in with you as well as answer any questions or concerns you might have about your new bundle of joy.  Phone calls can include discussions on topics such as:

  • Is your baby getting enough to eat?
  • When do I start my baby on solid foods?
  • Is it okay to let your baby cry?
  • What milestones your baby might be achieving?

Each day of your child's first year is a new experience for your baby and for you. This program can offer a rewarding experience for you and your child.
