Strengthening Families Since 1987
“Help as we recover together from the pandemic”
Please consider making a monetary donation to help Madonna Place support children and families in our region with services through the Family Support Center, Great Beginnings Home Visiting, and Fatherhood Initiative Program. Unfortunately, we still have not begun to accept used clothing and items at this time due to COVID. To donate used clothing items to Goodwill so our families receive free vouchers to shop for clothing, please contact Cathy or Sonia in the Family Support Center to pick up a donation form. We continue to provide all services uninterrupted during the pandemic, using remote phone and web-based means to provide parenting support and Family Support Center outreach, home visiting and fatherhood programming. Some in-person services are also available at this time. Food, diapers, formula, PPE, and other emergency basic needs resources are available for contact-free, curbside delivery until fully in-person services are available. For help, contact us at 860-886-6600.
During “normal times” socially isolated and economically insecure families and children are already struggling. The current public health crisis has multiplied the negative effects on families who are isolated and financially stretched. This extra stress puts children at higher than normal risk for abuse and neglect.
In addition, families who may have normally been stable and safe might be faced with challenges and barriers that increase the likelihood of abuse or neglect simply because of these long-lasting, abnormal circumstances we are all experiencing right now.
There are many ways you can show your support. Please consider joining us by:
* giving a monetary donation by mail or on our website: www.madonnaplace.org/ways-to-give/
* donating gift cards from local stores to Madonna Place for clients and programs.
* making a donation in honor of a special person in your life to recognize them or in memory of someone important to you that you have lost.
* checking in with friends, family and neighbors to see if they could use some extra emotional support during these difficult times.
*donating new facemasks, gloves, hand sanitzer or other PPE.
*donating clothing to Goodwill to benefit Madonna Place Clients (contact Cathy or Sonia in the Family Support Center to find out how to make a clothing donation at 860-886-6600).
*buying local to help your local businesses open and by purchasing gift cards to keep businesses running.
Unfortunately, we are not taking used items at this time due to the pandemic. Please call or email us if you have new items or questions.

The mission of Madonna Place is to provide services which strengthen families, promote health, and prevent child abuse and neglect. We do this by providing three strength-based programs that empower caregivers to increase knowledge of recognizing important infant toddler developmental milestones, create positive family connections and encourage the importance of family wellness.
